The world is progressing into a far more diverse community, new things, ideas rise daily and more often than none we see old cultures fade into the shadows.
Poetry has been a tool over centuries used to channel emotions, thoughts, opinions, ideas, BELIEFS in an artistic fashion but unfortunately like some other cultures of old poetry fades slowly into the shadows.
Using AmateurLines.com.ng we hope to bring back the love for poetry into the present generation. We hope to achieve this by developing a platform where so called 'amateur writers' could present their works to the world' with occasional writing challenges and competitions firstly to Nigerians and hopefully to the rest of the world.
