Lift the candle to my face
so that I may see some truth.
At my double let me gaze
perhaps I would find a clue
as my fingers slowly trace
in gentle pace a shrouded loop.
Bring me closer to the base
and peel away the armored suit.
Lift the flame and let me gaze
so I may find myself anew.
