'Children Obey!' it is said
'Obey your father, obey your mother
if you wish your life be blessed with years.
Follow their teachings, this is thy task.
A precept to keep, your daily bread.

For our world today has left the right
with her love of discord and her ill-fated trends.
They rebel when corrected, they hide from the light.
Since they would not obey, their reward will find them.
Alas, to obey is better than sacrifice.

So why follow this trend? Why not obey?
for when favour comes,from those fools it will hide
only those who had learned would find him all day.
Whether elder or parent, their instructions abide
so they'd pray for and bless you; you who obeyed.
